How to Play Flames & Fortune
Your primary objective is to survive the dungeon by clearing every single card from the dealer's deck. Each turn, new cards are drawn automatically until the four active slots on your dashboard are completely filled. These slots will present a mix of dangerous enemies, protective shields, healing potions, and gold treasures. You must equip resource cards into your hands or store them in your backpack, using them strategically to neutralize enemy cards and clear the board.
Controls
- Card Interaction: Click and drag a card using your Left Mouse Button (or tap and swipe on mobile screens) to move it to your character slot, backpack, or target an enemy.
- Equipping Items: Drag weapon, shield, or potion cards directly onto your hero to equip or consume them instantly.
- Engaging Combat: Drag an active enemy card over your equipped weapon or shield to attack and mitigate incoming damage.
Strategies
- Optimize Your Backpack Slots: Space is extremely limited in the dungeon. Do not waste your active hand slots on high-level potions or shields when your health is full; instead, drag them into your backpack for emergency use during tougher elite encounters.
- Calculate Damage Before Striking: Every battle card inflicts direct damage equal to its value. Always look at your current shield capacity and remaining health points before attacking a monster to ensure the strike won't accidentally end your run.
- Invest Gold in Ability Cards: The treasures you gather during your successful zindan escapes aren't just for show. Spend your hard-earned gold coins in the main menu to unlock powerful new Ability Cards, expanding your tactical options for future, more dangerous expeditions.
