How to Play Fragen

Fragen is an intense first-person shooter that drops you into adrenaline-filled tactical battles across a variety of stunning environments, from industrial zones to desert bases. To play the game, your primary objective is to navigate complex arenas, outpace your rivals, and eliminate enemy shooters to dominate the battlefield. Before entering combat, you can choose between entering a solo queue or joining a team battle. Solo play features modes like Free for All, Sniper Only, and Secondary Only, while team-based play offers Team Deathmatch, Gun Race, Sniper Only, and Secondary Only, allowing you to tailor the match type to your preferred combat style.

The control scheme is fully optimized for fluid desktop precision, making the use of a mouse or controller highly recommended for fast aiming. You move your soldier using the WASD keys, jump over obstacles with the Space bar, and squat behind tactical cover by pressing the C key. Aiming down your sights for maximum accuracy is mapped to the Right Mouse button, while firing your weapon is done with the Left Mouse button. You can cycle through your primary and secondary weapons using the Mouse Wheel. For survival and utility, pressing the G key throws a grenade to clear out groups of enemies, tapping the H key applies a first aid kit to restore your health, and pressing the Tab key opens up the in-game menu.

Strategy and continuous progression are central to mastering the combat. Because there is no mini-map to guide you through the terrain, you must rely entirely on your spatial instincts, check your corners, and effectively utilize the tactical cover system to survive firefights. As you fight, complete ranked matches, and finish clan challenges, you earn reward points and progress through a battle pass. This allows you to unlock daily rewards like cash, armor, and a massive arsenal of weapons including rifles, shotguns, and snipers. By analyzing weapon stats such as fire rate, range, and headshot damage, customizing your gear to fit the map, and mastering the switch between close and long-range firearms, you can conquer the leaderboards and lead your squad to victory.
