How to Play 3 Tiles

3 Tiles is a charming tile-matching puzzle game that challenges your focus and strategic thinking. To play the game, your main objective is to completely clear the playing field by finding and grouping sets of three identical picture tiles. The tiles are arranged in intricate, multi-layered stacks, meaning that many items are hidden underneath others and can only be accessed once the tiles on top of them are removed.

The controls are simple and intuitive, requiring you to use the left mouse button on a desktop or simple touch gestures on a mobile device. When you see a tile you want to select, simply click on it, and it will be moved to your active selection bar at the bottom of the screen. This bar acts as a temporary holding area where you gather your pieces. As soon as you place three identical tiles into this bar, they will automatically match, clear from the board, and free up space in your holding area.

Strategy is essential because the holding bar has a strictly limited amount of space. If you fill the bar with mismatched tiles and run out of slots before completing a set of three, the game ends. Therefore, you must carefully plan which tiles to uncover and select, ensuring you do not trap yourself with a full bar. By strategically clearing the top layers to reveal matching items underneath and organizing the field tile by tile, you can successfully solve the puzzle and advance to the next stage.
